I just switched to a new theme, how do I get the app form to display again?

For stencil themes

Open the app to the Settings -> Registration Form page and click the Generate script button. This will generate the latest script for your store and add it into the store Script Manager.

A recent trend for some of the newer Stencil themes is to make a large part of the page not visible when a product or variant is out of stock. This can also cause our form to not be visible also. If after clicking the generate script button, the for is still not visible create a support ticket (please also include the URL to the product) and we can change the default form location to one that is still visible when out of stock.

For the older Blueprint themes:

Go to the Settings -> Registration Form page and click the save to store button. Unfortunately, this is not always successful and may need a manual edit (see next item).

Due to restrictions by BigCommerce, theme files are blocked from external editing until they are modified in the store admin editor. In this case you need to manually add the following line to your footer.hmtl theme file.

%%Panel.InStockNotifyPanel%%

Steps to manually edit a blueprint theme footer.html file:

1. Go to Storefront › My Themes and click the Edit HTML/CSS button on the Themes page.

2. Scroll to the bottom of the list in the top left called Files used by this template, and click on Footer.html.

3. Place %%Panel.InStockNotifyPanel%% at the bottom of the file.

4. Save your changes.
